Kan ik alvast een bestelling plaatsen voor de Kerst?

Dat kan! Plaats je bestelling en vermeld in het winkelmandje dat het een KERST-bestelling is. We zullen je bestelling dan op tijd verzenden.

Wanneer wordt mijn kerstbestelling verzonden?

Alle Kerstbestellingen met verse bloemen worden 20 december verzonden. Je pakket wordt dan 21, 23 of 24 december bezorgd.

Leg je bakjes verse bloemen na ontvangst direct in de koelkast.

Bestellingen met enkel gedroogde of geperste bloemen worden 19 december verzonden.

Kan ik mijn Kerst bestelling ophalen?

Ja! Kerstbestellingen kunnen worden afgehaald op maandag 23 en dinsdag 24 december.

1. Vermeld in het winkelmandje dat het om een kerstbestelling gaat EN laat ons weten welke datum je de bestelling wilt ophalen

2. Kies tijdens het afrekenen voor de optie afhalen

3. Per mail sturen we een bevestiging met duidelijke instructies over waar je de bestelling kan ophalen.

Ik wil eetbare bloemen gebruiken op Oud- of Nieuwjaarsdag, wanneer moet ik bestellen?

Plaats je bestelling alvast en geef in het winkelmandje aan op welke datum je de eetbare bloemen wilt gebruiken.

Bestellingen voor Oud- en Nieuwjaarsdag worden verzonden op vrijdag 27 december en bezorgd op zaterdag 28 december of maandag 30 december.

Kan ik mijn Oud- of Nieuwjaarsdag bestelling ophalen?

Ja! Oud- en Nieuwjaarsdag bestellingen kunnen worden afgehaald op maandag 30 en dinsdag 31 december.

Kan ik mijn pakketje volgen?

Ja, zodra wij het pakket hebben afgeleverd bij de bezorgdienst ontvang je een track en trace code.

Kan ik mijn bestelling afhalen?

Dat kan! Bestellingen kunnen van de kwekerij worden afgehaald. Dit werkt als volgt:

  1. Kies tijdens het afrekenen voor de optie afhalen.
  2. Na het plaatsen van je bestelling, stuur ons een e-mail met de gewenste ophaaldatum.
  3. Wij sturen je een bevestigingsmail met de gekozen datum en duidelijke instructies over waar je de bestelling kunt ophalen.

Onze afhaallocatie is een zelfbedieningspunt dat geopend is van maandag t/m zaterdag, van 9.00 tot 19.00. Je kunt je bestelling op de afgesproken dag ophalen op het moment dat het jou uitkomt!

When is the best time to order to have my flowers delivered on time?

On Monday to Thursday, ordered before 11:00 am = shipped the same day.
After Thursday 11am, Saturday and Sunday = shipped on Monday.

You will usually receive the package the next working day. Sometimes the post is delayed by one day, for this reason we recommend allowing an extra day for delivery.

We are not liable for any defects at PostNL and DHL.

How can I submit a request/comment for my order/delivery?

You can place a request/comment for your order (for example when you need the flowers) at the bottom of the page in the shopping cart.

Can I also order as a wholesaler?

Yes, we also supply to wholesalers and the catering industry.

What are the accepted payment methods?

You can pay with IDeal, Paypal, Mastercard, Visa, Sofort and Bancontact.

Can I cancel or change my order?

You can change or cancel your order on working days until 11:00 am by contacting us via Whatsapp or email .

Can I receive an invoice?

If you specify the name of your company during the ordering process, you will receive the invoice within 24 hours after shipment.

What is the return policy?

Due to the shelf life, fresh edible flowers cannot be returned.

Dried and pressed edible flowers can be returned:

You can request a return for delivered products within 14 days. Please contact us by email to arrange the return. Return shipping costs are for your own account. After receiving and checking the returned product, we will refund the amount to you.

Delivery

Can I track the status of my order?

Of course. As soon as your package has been registered with PostNL/DHL, you will receive a track and trace code. Usually you will receive your package the next working day.

What is the delivery time?

Orders placed before 11:00 am from Monday to Thursday = shipped the same day within the Netherlands. In most cases this means next working day delivery. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this because we depend on external parcel deliverers.

Ordered after Thursday 11.00 = shipped on Monday.

What are the shipping costs?

The shipping costs within the Netherlands are €6.95. For orders from €75, the shipping costs within the Netherlands are free.

The shipping costs to Belgium and Germany are €9.95.

Shipping to France, Spain, Austria and Italy costs €14.95.

I have received my order but something is missing. What now?

Oops, that's not the point. Contact us via email or Whatsapp and we will solve it for you as soon as possible.

Edible Flowers

What is the best way to store the flowers?

Fresh: Place your bowl of flowers in the refrigerator immediately upon receipt.

Dried, pressed: To preserve the quality of the edible flowers, we recommend storing them in a dark, dry place, preferably in their original packaging.

How long can I keep the edible flowers?

Fresh: The fresh edible flowers stay good for +- 3 to 4 days, if kept refrigerated.

Pressed, dried: Dried and pressed edible flowers generally have a shelf life of 6 months to 1 year. The shelf life can be extended by storing the edible flowers in a dry and cool place. As the edible flowers age, the scent, color or texture is lost.

Are all flowers edible?

Only specially grown flowers are edible. At Floral Delight we offer carefully selected edible flowers, which are safe for consumption and suitable for culinary applications.

Not every flower is edible. Avoid consuming flowers from bouquets or the wild, as some can cause toxins or allergic reactions. It is crucial to choose flowers that are consciously grown and labeled as edible, such as our selection available at Floral Delight. Our edible flowers are also Global GAP certified.

Are edible flowers healthy?

Yes, edible flowers can be a beautiful addition to dishes and can provide various health benefits. In general, edible flowers contain nutrients such as vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. They may also contain fiber, depending on the type of flour.

In addition, certain edible flowers may offer specific health benefits. For example, some flowers, such as marigold and pansies, are traditionally used for their anti-inflammatory properties. Other flowers, such as lavender and chamomile, are known for their calming effects and are sometimes used in teas or aromatherapy.

However, it is important to note that edible flowers are usually consumed in small amounts, mainly as a decoration or flavor enhancer, and so they do not typically contribute significantly to daily nutritional requirements.

Are the Edible Flowers grown sustainably?

Sure! At Floral Delight we attach great importance to sustainability. Our flowers are grown with great care and attention to the environment. We use sustainable cultivation methods that avoid harmful chemicals. To combat pests, we use biological enemies, so we use natural solutions.

To save the environment, we pack our fresh flowers in recycled plastic containers. Various experiments have shown that this packaging ensures that the flowers have the longest shelf life. Our process is designed in such a way that there is no waste. We use all flowers by pressing and drying them.

Where do your edible flowers come from?

Our edible flowers are grown in our own nursery in Westland. The fresh edible flowers are shipped on the day of harvest. We press and dry the flowers immediately after harvest, so that we can guarantee the highest quality.

Can you eat edible flowers if you have an allergy?

If you are hypersensitive to flowers, we do not recommend eating edible flowers.

Are edible flowers suitable for vegetarians and vegans?

Yes, edible flowers are suitable for both vegetarians and vegans. They contain no animal ingredients and can be a wonderful and tasty addition to vegetarian and vegan dishes.
